Brevard Zoo Offers Tween Programs

Recently the Zoo started hosting Tween events for youth ages 10 to 12. The next upcoming Tween night is Saturday, May 16, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. The theme is Animal Enrichment. Zoo Teen Volunteers Help Ready Paws On

On Saturday January 24, teen volunteers in the Zoo Teen program lent a hand to get the Zoo’s new Paws On exhibit ready to open February 14. The main task for the day was moving a huge pile of sand to fill up the new “turtle beach” play area. Other teens worked on painting play structures and leveling the new contact yard.

Gator Club Volunteers at Zoo

Core volunteers are at the heart of the Zoo, and thanks to them, the Zoo is able to continue doing great things.
