| Brevard Zoo to Host Boy Scouts | |

BREVARD COUNTY — Brevard Zoo is hosting Scout Day at the Zoo on May 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During Fantastic Florida Scout Happenings, the zoo invites Girl and Boy Scouts of all ages to "do the zoo" at a discounted price and enjoy special activities including face painting, bio-facts, animal encounters, and activity booths.
Activity booth themes this year include camouflage, adaptations, food chain and reptiles.
Come as a troop or with the family and be sure to wear the Scout uniform. Cost is $7.50 per person and includes zoo admission and a patch for each Scout in uniform.
Scouts can also enjoy kayaking at the Wetlands Outpost for $3 a person for ages 5 and up. Deadline for reservations and payment is May 6. To register, call (321) 254-9453 ext. 219. |
